Is this the largest ship that has sailed into Loch Etive?
MV Amanda, a Dutch registered General cargo ship built in 2005, visited Bonawe Quarries last week.
Pictures show her passing under Connel Bridge and moored off Achnacree Bay.
The Ship was loaded with 1500 tonnes of aggregate for a customer on Mull and as far as Ennstone Thistle are  aware she is biggest ship ever to have been in Loch Etive.
Her vital statistics are Length over all: 106.12 m; Beam: 14.40 m, Draft: 6.14 m
Is this right?  perhaps somebody can tell us otherwise.

I as pilot took her in, and yes I believe she is the biggest to date. However she is 86 m in length and drew 3.8 m (I think from memory) on departure.
