Support Project Bramble … a fantastic idea to create the facilities for the Riding for Disabled in Benderloch.

Bramble is a very well kent gentleman around Baravullin and further afield and it is very fitting that this project is named for him.

from todays (30-5-12) facebook wall : Tomorrow, Bramble and a few of our DRDA volunteers are helping with Jubilee celebrations at Lochnell Primary school. The school recently held a talent show (Lochnell’s got Talent) in celebration of the Jubilee and the prize for the winner was a carriage ride to the school. Congratulations to Amelia who won by singing “crying in the rain” and we hope she has a great time! They will be arriving at the school around 1.30pm.

Description
The aim of Project Bramble is to provide support facilities adjacent to the new carriage friendly arena which has been donated to the group. Planning permission was granted on 5th April 2012 and we now need to raise funds in order to provide the support facilities such as a carriage store, associated equipment, parking and access. All of course being suitable for the wide range ranging disabilities experienced by our drivers.

Our local group (Argyll, Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Driving Group (SCIO) based in Benderloch) has a huge demand, more than we can currently handle. Having these new facilities would mean that we could offer our services to more people, enriching more lives and enhancing the individual experience of every driver!
