Forestry Commission work to deal with hazardous trees in Barcaldine and Benderloch

The Forestry Commission have arranged to make safe some hazardous trees at Barcaldine opposite the sea life centre and just by
Beinn Lora cliffs on the outskirts of Benderloch.
The work opposite the sea life centre we hope to do in 4 days and the work on the cliffs on Beinn Lora will take one day.
Both will involve a lane closure with traffic lights. Tree surgeons working on steep ground / cliffs above the carriage way so there may be
short delays.
We have large firs blown over a trail at Achinrier which we will clear after these works on the main A828 an at the same time we hope tidy up
some of the veteran beech in Glen Salach.

The Sea Life centre job is scheduled for the 2nd of February

The Beinn Lora job is scheduled for the 9th of February
