We received feedback from local residents, businesses and event goers that they would benefit from scheduled amnesty periods. We have considered all requests and have agreed that amnesty periods for the ‘Benderloch to Barcaldine’ closure will be provided at the following times:

20:30pm
21:30pm
23:30pm
01:30am
03:30am

Please note that these amnesty periods are intended to allow local access through the resurfacing site only. On the nights where Connel Bridge is closed, through access to Oban/Connel or Ballachulish will be unavailable after 2200hrs. Motorists are therefore reminded that if this is their intention, they should make use of the signed diversion route via Tyndrum. To ensure works remain on schedule these amnesty periods will only be in place for a short period of time, motorists are encouraged to arrive prior to these times to ensure they are accommodated within the amnesty.

Please note that access for the scheduled bus services will be maintained. Emergency services will be permitted access at all times by way of a ‘phone ahead’ system. Emergency Service providers are reminded that, if they have not yet contacted us to obtain the required contact number, they must do so by 4pm Friday 2nd November.

Kind Regards,
