have it on good authority that Clive Craik from Barcaldine is appearing as a finalist in the RSPB Species Champion Award on Landward tomorrow – BBC 7.30pm for his work in supporting terns on the West Coast of Scotland. The generosity of a company giving all the children of Barcaldine school a bike is paying dividends. Everyone is delighted that Barcaldine school has been taken off the current target list for the school closures, however the children, teachers and parents of the parish are still very much in the councils sights for upheaval of the worst kind.
