Airport at Connel, open again
Well done to the lads from Flit – who have successfully, and hopefully, gently, lifted the stranded Piper Arrow back up on to her wheels so she could be towed off the runway allowing normal service to resume at Oban Airport.

Sustrans – Caledonia way – meeting – Tues 15th June

North Connel and District Horticulture
It was a great afternoon, yesterday, at the Plant Sale with just about all the plants being eagerly scooped up within the first half an hour, leaving plenty of time for all to leisurely enjoy Fiona’s renowned home baking and teas. Once again, superb, and so efficiently assisted by many helpers.

Loch Etive ICZM meeting Tomorrow – be part of the consultation
The next meeting of the consultation on the features of, and factors affecting, Loch Etive takes place tomorrow – Tuesday 20th April at 7 pm Connel Village hall.
The agenda for this meeting is focussing on Water Quality and Invasive Non-Native Species.
