		<description>Helen Agnes Chatterton, 1915-2007.

I am trying to find out, for family history purposes,
about Helen Agnes Chatterton, born 1915 in Barnet, died 2007 (death registered in Oban). I know that in 1968 to 1972 her address was Mo dhachaidh, Ledaig, according to telephone records. Why did she come to live here, and what did she do?
The remainder of her family were based around London and Sussex. My wife&#039;s great grandfather and Helen&#039;s father (Richard) were brothers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

as a pupil it is good to see it is still funcioning as a
community hub 60 years on. I used to live in the store

<description>Staff from Lynn of Lorne Care Home who work shifts covering 24 hour care depend on this bus to get to and from Oban to cover their awkwardly timed shifts. If this service is withdrawn it would leave staff unable to get to work and the Home unable to provide the necessary level of care.

		<description>Hi,

Just a note to advidse everyone who might have been thinking of a flight with FSS out of Oban this weekend coming. We have taken a long hard look at the weather and we are concerned about the forecast so on this basis we have decided that the coming weather is not going to be suitable for flying with passengers. We do not want to take money from people and spoil their day by taking them up in anything other than decent flying conditions. We will keep an eye on the conditions and will hopefully find a window of calm before the end of the season. I hope that we have not disappointed anyone but safet and comfort comes first always. If you have any problems please do get in touch with our ops on 01228 572490

Regards

<description>Apologies from the surgery for any inconvenience to patients. Surgery was closed from 1.30pm yesterday for one of our regular Protected Learning Time (PLT) afternoons. PLT events are really useful in allowing the whole team to learn together, improving patient care as a consequence. Pharmacy was open and doctors/staff were in building if there was urgent need of attention and NHS24 was ready to handle all calls.
We had posters up stating closure times and reason for this for the past 10 days - not sure what happended to the one on the front door!
We are always looking for ways of improving communication with patients and will re-double our efforts for the next scheduled PLT afternoon on 26th September 2011.
We&#039;d also highlight our patient user group MedCats as an excellent forum for two-way interaction with the practice.

<description>I would like to thank everyone who came along to our meeting last night. It quickly became apparent that it was the same old “mince” that they were spouting and that we were not going to get anywhere.
There was no new information.
The same incorrect information was repeated.
Those there to answer any questions couldn’t.
Ellen Morton was on her high horse as always.

In total: - a farce.</description>
