A Torloch o’Creran was a Scot who was part of the Ulster plantation in 1610 in County Donegal. Do you know the origin of the Loch Creran name. Was this a family name at one time? I live in Seattle and am planning a trip to Oban,Argyle,Loch Creran, etc. Thanks for any help and ideas. Ray Crerand
