Oban airport – what next?

News agency sources have been reporting during the course of today that Highland Airways are experiencing what they describe as “continuing problems”.

Bookings are no longer being taken on the HA website.

Ardchattan Community Council have contacted Argyll & Bute Council, asking to be kept informed of developments, and to ensure that the community will be fully involved in any decisions taken regarding the future of the airport.

The airport employs up to 16 full time council staff, and is a significant asset to the area.
