Dear Residents of Ardchattan

As you may have heard there are no pupils registered to attend Ardchattan Primary School from the start of August 2014.
After consultation with the Parent Council, the Education Department will be putting a paper to Argyll & Bute Council in April, proposing that the school be “mothballed” from 30th June 2014

Should anyone come to the community who wishes to register a child to the school, the council would then re-open the school.

The Parent Council and Ardchattan Community Council are jointly hosting a meeting on Thursday 20th March at 7.30pm at Ardchattan Primary School.

They are inviting all members of the community to come and share their views about the community’s use of the school building during the period of mothballing.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Yours sincerely
